During the conference of the Association of Healthcare Managers (STOMOZ), KOMA NORD experts – Elżbieta Kasińska, Łukasz Kotalla and Jakub Zadomski – took part in discussions on the future of digital hospitals.

Elżbieta Kasińska and Łukasz Kotalla delivered a presentation entitled “The Holistic Hospital 4.0 – the integrator as the architect of digital transformation.”

The STOMOZ conference took place on November 6 in Szczyrk. It brought together experts, managers and practitioners from the healthcare system who shared their experiences in the field of digitalization and modern hospital management.

Representatives of KOMA NORD presented the concept of the Holistic Hospital 4.0, emphasizing that a digital hospital is not a collection of random technologies, but a coherent ecosystem of people, processes and technologies – in that exact order.

The presentation highlighted the key role of the integrator-architect, who:

• understands clinical processes and their interdependencies,
• is aware of the risks resulting from a lack of system integration,
• can combine technology with the mission and everyday work of medical staff.
