Integrated Park & Ride Service Center - CNS Park & Ride
Parking has become a critical element of the eco-friendly urban transportation system. CNS P&R is a versatile parking management system within the city, encompassing both open and multi-story (multi-level) facilities. It enables fee collection for parking, occupancy monitoring, video surveillance, technical infrastructure control, reporting, and parking operation regulation.
Park & Ride is a system that manages integrated parking areas in the city, including both open and multi-story facilities, in conjunction with public transportation.
People traveling by car to destinations located in the city center can leave their cars in the parking lot and continue their journey using public transportation.
Through the integration of variable message signs with the driver's navigation system, motorists are automatically informed about the parking status and guided to the most optimal location for them.
Responding to the expectations of city residents to improve their quality of life, the CNS P&R system serves as a universal communication platform for parking-related aspects. Additionally, with the ability to verify real-time parking space occupancy, it becomes a valuable data source for the following functions:
The system offers the option to receive incoming calls and make voice messages using SIP devices, based on the functionality and solutions of the PortSIP PBX system.
Functionality of receiving calls in the system:
Making a call from a device, e.g., an intercom at a barrier, allows contacting the CNS P&R system operator to report issues such as problems with issuing an entry ticket to the parking lot. The system records incoming call attempts, allowing the operator to take action and initiate a conversation. At this point, the operator can assess the current situation and react accordingly, e.g., opening the barrier or sending a command to print a ticket. The system also offers a live image preview if the camera is connected to the calling device.
Functionality of making voice messages:
The system allows adding sound files (.wav) that can be played as messages. When sending a message, the user selects VoIP devices to receive it, e.g., the parking audio system, and sets the time for playback. This is done by automatically making a voice call to the specified device. All active messages are visible in the system, allowing the user to end a specific call before its set time expires. If the declared playback time is longer than the recording itself, the system repeats the message until the playback is complete.
